Baby cards of every colour. . I’m shocked that we are still in the whole pink and blue thing. My daughter doesn’t wear pink, maybe she will when she’s older and wants to, my son loves it! A colour is just that, a colour. . Big companies really need to re-think the whole pink and blue card thing. Pink for a girl and blue for a boy is crazy. So I’m making my own, unisex prints and cards for everyone and anyone. Celebrate with monochrome, colours or flowers! . It’s weird typing this out as I’ve sat this idea for over a year but life just happens. So I’m making myself accountable @indie_roller I will be sharing all my prints and take this next step to share everything. .
The @orlakiely exhibition was truly wonderful. I came out of there I felt so inspired. So sad to read that the company has gone into administration the following day. What a wonderful designer. Makes me worry that if a well known designer has to stop trading it is a silly idea to try and start sharing my designs. I think it’s making me want to succeed. In the words of @oh_squirrel ‘but what if it all goes right?’ But most importantly if you love small businesses then support them.
